NICET launched its newest program designed specifically for technicians that perform the periodic inspection and testing of fire alarm systems on May 1, 2015 with the release of the Level I exam. It is a two level program and NICET completed the development phase with the release of the Level II exam on June 1, 2015. Please visit the ITFAS Program Page for more information.
Technicians began applying for the Level I exam the day it became available and many have already tested and passed. NICET has received over 75 applications for the new program in less than two months.
