NICET is pleased to welcome the newest member of the NICET Board of Governors, Linda M. Biernacki. Ms. Biernacki is a graduate from the State of Louisiana, Shreveport Bossier Vocational Technical Institute for Mechanical Drafting. She opened her own firm, Fire Tech Systems, Inc., in 1990. Fire Tech Systems provides life safety needs through fire protection to commercial and industrial businesses, as well as residential homes throughout six states.

The NICET Board of Governors is responsible for establishing policies and operating procedures for the Institute, overseeing the administration of NICET certification activities (including fiscal oversight), and upholding the NICET Code of Ethics and the integrity of NICET certifications.
