No refunds are guaranteed. Each refund decision will be made on a case-by-case basis. Payments received online, will be issued back to the card of use when possible. All other refunds are issued via checks within 10 business days from approval. See the Refund Guidelines below.

To request a refund for NICET examination activity, submit a written request to test@nicet.org.
Refunds are issued, minus a $85.00 processing fee, provided both of the following conditions are met:
If one or both conditions are not met, a refund is not issued. Even if you cancel an existing appointment with Pearson Vue, we cannot issue a refund nor can we substitute your confirmed date and time with another candidate. Candidates will have an opportunity to request and submit a rescheduling request.

Unless otherwise noted, NICET will not issue refunds for other paid services, such as: a job board listing, personal records and reports, practice test, training provider directory listing, etc. The exception to this is a duplicate request or overpayment.
